advocate for the State Government at the Delhi High Court and the Central
Administrative Tribunal, she has also been a corporate lawyer for a number of
well known corporate clients.

Her expertise and area of interests have for a long time, lain in the field of
mediation and family dispute resolution, and this is what has led her to be a
part of getmeadivorce.com. With her invaluable legal experience gained
from handling family and matrimonial disputes for several high profile clients
form the business and entertainment industry, she brings to the table a deep
commitment to privacy and confidentiality, the two cornerstones of what we are trying to accomplish with this venture. She leads a team of highly qualified legal experts for us, who work in tandem to provide a safe, online space for people looking to reclaim their lives and start afresh.

A well respected member of the legal community, she does a lot of work with
POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment), she conducts lectures and
workshops and is a member of the Internal Complaints Committee for a
number of large private organisations. An alumna of the Kanpur University
and Indraprastha College for Women she is registered with The Bar Council
Of India and the Delhi High Court Bar Association.

Family Law Mediator

Our legal expert brings with her over three decades of legal expertise in
Family law and dispute resolution. Over a long career she has helped people
from across a cross section of society in resolving matters related to
marriage, divorce, maintenance, adoption, child custody and domestic
violence. In the field of divorce, she has been particularly successful in
handling cases where there has been involvement of international courts, she
has dealt with divorce decrees taken from foreign courts, their enforceability
or validity in India and vice versa. In the Indian legal structure she as donned
the hat of lawyer, mediator and arbitrator on complicated cases, empowering
men and women to tackle unsavoury personal situations.

At present she is also on the panel of Hindustan Prefab Ltd (PSU) in addition
to consulting companies/institutions like Bijwasan Agro, PDIL (PSU),
Syndicate Bank and the Noida College of Physical Education. A member of
both the Supreme Court Bar Association and Delhi High Court Bar
Association, she has studied law at one of the country’s premier Law
Universities.

A second generation legal expert, our councillor comes from an illustrious
family of Indian legal professionals. She has been practicing law since 1985
and is an expert in Family Law. With a stellar case record spanning over
three decades of settling matters of divorce, child custody, and domestic
violence she endeavours to help clients reach settlements that meet their
requirements . From the very beginning she has helped counsel individuals
who reach out to getmeadivorce.com with an in-depth understanding of the
intricacies of the Indian Legal System and enables them to navigate their way
to resolution.

A member of both the Supreme Court Bar Association and Delhi High Court
Bar Association, in her long legal career she has been a legal counsel for two
national banks, an Insurance company as well as the Airports Authority Of
India. She is an alumna of the Presentation Convent and Miranda House,
Delhi and had studied law at the prestigious Government Law College in
Mumbai.
